About Qey
Qey are a specialist heating, ventilation and air conditioning company operating four divisions, covering all areas of air conditioning and refrigeration, including chillers, close control units, heat pumps, fan coil units, condensers and air handling unit products.
We specialize in more complicated business-critical equipment, and our applications range from server rooms, data centres, hotels, hospitals, factories and more.
Qey also work with reputable manufacturers and partners from around the world, including Climaveneta Mitsubishi, Sabiana, Carel and ZIEHL-ABEGG to supply high quality products and solutions to the Middle East market.
The Air division is the core structure of Qey’s expertise in the HVAC field, offering multiple services for all areas of air conditioning and refrigeration.
Partnering with Climaveneta Mitsubishi enables us to supply reputable, efficient cooling and heating products and focus particularly on business-critical applications, such as data centres, hotels, hospitals and factories.
The Energy division operates with a simple mission; To save energy and save cost, by offering the best sustainable solutions to existing and new equipment and allowing a measurable return on investment.
Working with ZIEHL-ABEGG and Carel, Qey offer, EC plug fan upgrades, IT cooling upgrades, condenser fan upgrades, controls optimization and other equipment retrofits.
The Controls division partner with Carel to supply the highest but affordable grade of microprocessors and supervisory systems to suit customer needs. From air handling units to chillers, Qey can supply, install, develop and commission controls wherever required.
This also includes supply and installation of remote monitoring equipment to existing plant.
The Design division uses our own in-house experienced team with project references in Europe and the Middle East, to allow us to offer affordable design and build solutions to our customers, fully provided by Qey, from concept to completion.
Qey can also operate as a stand-alone design consultant, ensuring your project is created and delivered correctly.

Our Team
Jon Davies
General Manager
Jon has been working in different roles in the air conditioning and refrigeration sector since starting an apprenticeship at the age of 18, with a company, at the time called, Denco; a European manufacturer of close control units, air handling units, chillers and more. Through various buy-outs and merges, Denco eventually turned into what it is now FlaktGroup.
After 6 years as a Development Engineer, Jon relocated to Dubai, UAE to support the companies’ products and partners in the Middle East region. Eventually, he served as the FlaktGroup Service Manager for the Middle East and gained experience in ensuring customers receive a high standard of support and the correct solution in all aspects of after-sales care.
Jon now looks to guide Qey to offer a wide range of products and services delivered to a high standard using his past connections and expertise to ensure clients receive the correct solution.
Francesco Terpin
Technical Director
Francesco is originally from Pordenone in Italy. He is an experienced Mechanical and Civil Consultant Engineer with an impressive reference list of HVAC design projects within Italy and the Middle East region.
He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering and has 15 years experience in delivering HVAC projects of different types and applications.
Although previously working for Contractors and Consultants, Francesco also has experience in working direct with end users. He has an extensive history of offering design and build services to customers in Europe and the Middle East which showcases his ability to apply different engineering practises and designs to different environments.
Francesco is responsible for Qey's design projects and ensures his technical expertise and experience are shared amongst Qey's engineers.
